Analysed Websites

This source is very useful and has a lot of information and discusses the methods very clearly. Despite that this website has been open for a long time and some other techniques have been introduced but these are the major ones and that it is quite accurate and highly used. This website is highly detailed and also says things such as flaws and why people are against these methods. A disadvantage is that in some areas you may not understand certain words or phrases and may have to look them up in the dictionary to understand them. This website is credible and is not biased as it looks on both sides.

This website is not as useful and thorough as the first but it still explains the methods and techniques simply and gives the reader a clear but limited understanding of it. As I said, it is much more simplistic and shortens everything to only  1 paragraph. The language is easy to understand and it is quite credible. This website is not biased and only provides the information for you to make up your mind.

This website is very useful and has lots and lots of information about the pros/ potential and cons of genetic engineering. It looks at all of them in detail and provides lots of examples and things about it. Descriptions about the pros and cons are very detailed and I would recommend this to others. The language is generally easy to understand but you may have to sift out the information in some areas like the cons. This website is quite believable but it talks about things that do not exist already such as human cloning so it may confuse some people. Also, it talks about neo-organs which I heard about and believe it is possible but I have never heard that it has actually happened and this website doesn’t state whether it has or hasn’t. This is a small factor about its clarity. It isn’t biased and looks at the pros and cons carefully from both points of view.

Another website that discusses the advantages and disadvantages, it is fairly simple but still has some points which are interesting. Also it adds some small interesting facts which you may already know. There isn’t much detail but it is sufficient. Even though the detail is called ‘Genetic Engineering: Advantages and Disadvantages’ only one third is about it and the rest on DNA. It is credible and is not biased.
